Stage 4 Update:

With the introduction of Stage 4 restrictions in Melbourne and Stage 3 in country Victoria there are different rules for coming to see me depending on the area that you live in. These rules currently apply until Sunday 13th September.

Stage 3 – Country Victoria

You can continue to come to see me, with the requirement that you must wear a face mask.

Stage 4 – Melbourne Metro

There are strict requirements for anyone wishing to see a Chiropractor or other Allied Health Professional. Under these requirements I am considered to be operating under the Stage 4 rules for anyone coming to see me from the Stage 4 area.

You are allowed to visit a Chiropractor “only if there is likely to be a significant deterioration in your physical or mental health if you don’t attend during the lock down period. It may apply to an acute injury or chronic flare up and would need to be moderate to severe in nature.” These requirements are very strictly applied and penalties apply if they are not observed.

Thus there are very limited approved reasons to come to see me until the Stage 4 restrictions are lifted. Routine, maintenance, and non-urgent care are not approved.

Please contact me if you live in the Stage 4 area and would like to discuss your situation.

Our chiropractic practice at Bundaleer Homestead, Gisborne, continues to be permitted to be open as it is considered an essential service. There are restrictions to the amount of people to 1 per 4 square metres, the space we have available at Bundaleer Homestead allows this. Our online booking system allows 1 person to book per time slot – if a family member from the same household wishes to come at that time please text me 0428 660 038 to let me know. You are welcome to text me about making an appointment.

Wearing of face masks is now compulsory throughout Victoria. I will be wearing an approved mask while working. When you come and see me you are required to wear a face mask.

How can we help prevent the spread of coronavirus?

Practicing good hand and sneeze/cough hygiene and keeping your distance from others is the best defence against most viruses.

You should:
• Use sanitiser or wash your hands frequently with soap and water, on arrival, before and after eating, and after going to the toilet.
• Cover your cough and sneeze with tissues, dispose of tissues, and wash your hands.
• Exercise personal responsibility for social distancing measures (stay more than 1.5 metres from people), no shaking hands or hugging.

Practice Notes

  • People will be requested to use sanitiser or wash their hands with soap and water on arrival.
  • Tables will be wiped down with disinfectant spray between uses and the cloths discarded.
  • Practitioners will sanitise their hands between patients.
  • Toys and children’s books will be removed.
  • Contactless cards use for payments encouraged.
  • Online bookings will only be available for one table per time slot to facilitate social distancing. If family members wish to book together please text me on 0428 660 038.
